Yes — all services at Allen Audiology are by appointment. This allows us to dedicate the time each patient needs for thorough evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and follow-up care without interruption. We do not accept walk-ins for clinical services.
*We do allow "drop-offs" for certain situations that require immediate attention. Please call first and our front desk staff will determine if a "drop-off" is appropriate and can be accommodated. "Drop-offs" are not appropriate for every situation and should not replace regular routine check-up appointments.
To schedule your appointment, call (610) 439-1196. Our staff will find a time at either our Allentown or Bethlehem office that works with your schedule.
We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice if possible so we can offer that time slot to another patient. You can call (610) 439-1196 during business hours to make changes to your appointment.
Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee at the practice's discretion. We value your time and ours, and advance notice helps us serve all of our patients effectively.
Every hearing aid purchase at Allen Audiology includes a 60-day risk-free trial period. This gives you time to wear your hearing aids in real-world situations — conversations, restaurants, phone calls, television — and determine whether they meet your needs before making a final commitment.
During the trial, your audiologist will schedule follow-up appointments to fine-tune the programming based on your feedback. If the hearing aids are not right for you, they can be returned within the trial period. Our goal is your complete satisfaction with your hearing solution.
We work with most major insurance carriers, including Medicare, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United Healthcare.* Not all insurances include a hearing aid benefit. We also accept CareCredit financing with promotional no-interest periods for patients who prefer to spread payments over time.
Please note that Allen Audiology does not accept third-party hearing aid benefit programs. If you have questions about your specific plan, call (610) 439-1196, and our team will help clarify your coverage.
